As a Senior Embedded Software Engineer C++, your area of responsibility encompasses all steps in software development for new generations of Air Purifiers and Air Quality Monitors, from concept to development and pilot series to market launch of simple devices up to complex systems.
Your Responsibilities
- Creating system concepts for IQAir
- Requirements Engineering
- System design in close coordination with the electronics team
- Architecture and design of onboard firmware, programming in C/C++
- Integration of IoT technologies (Bluetooth & WiFi), interfaces and protocols
- Planning and execution of V&V at unit-, integration- and system-level
- Collaboration with global development partners for cloud infrastructure & mobile applications
- Support of series production for component and EOL-test systems
Your Skills
- Degree in electrical engineering or computer science (FH/Uni/ETH)
- 5+ years of practical experience in software development for series devices
- Expertise in programming embedded software in C/C++
- Programming skills in Python
- Knowledge of various microcontroller families and communication protocols
- Solid experience in integrating IoT technologies and smart home solutions
- Experience collaborating with production/manufacturing
- Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken
